The Vascular Center at St. Anthony North Hospital offers a full spectrum of follow up and ongoing care services that treat and manage Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) related conditions such as non-healing wounds and varicose veins. Better circulation can reduce pain, improve healing and even prevent the need for amputation. Our comprehensive vascular care services include:

  • Wound Care - The Wound Care Center at St. Anthony North Hospital provides specialized treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds, which are defined as sores or wounds that have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. Associated with inadequate circulation, poorly functioning veins and immobility. With the state-of-the-art treatments available include on-site hyperbaric oxygen therapy, debridement, dressing selection, special shoes, and patient education, people with non-healing and chronic wounds now have a place to turn.   • Vein Treatment Center - Our comprehensive venous evaluation and vein repair with a minimally invasive treatment option can provide you relief from leg pain and varicose veins often associated with PVD. The VNUS Closure® procedure is used a minimally invasive alternative to traditional vein stripping for patients with superficial venous reflux, an underlying cause of varicose veins.   • Cardiac rehabilitation program - The St. Anthony North Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed to help you recover and return to as full and productive a life as possible after a cardiac event. Our comprehensive program provides preventive services along with a variety of rehabilitation options for those impacted by cardiovascular disease, including a class specifically designed for those who are struggling with PVD.
