Kelly Reno - Chief Nursing Officer

Welcome to St. Anthony North Hospital, a proud member of the Centura Health Network. We are a faith-based, community hospital, located in Westminster, Colorado, serving the greater North Denver metro area. We are large enough to provide an exciting clinical platform for your career satisfaction-yet small enough to form strong, lasting professional relationships.  At the very heart of the organization, is our excellent patient care provided by our exceptional nursing associates. Every day, our staff demonstrates their dedication to the nursing profession through compassionate and technologically-advanced, expert care.

Our practice environment celebrates the professional aspects of nursing. This is evident by our Nurse Practice Advisory Council and our stated philosophy of Nursing:

Our St. Anthony North Nursing Philosophy
The Nursing Division of St. Anthony North is dedicated to the promotion of professionalism and compassion through competency in clinical skills and human interaction; accountability to our patients, colleagues, and organization; collaboration with our patients, families and health care team; and commitment to our ongoing pursuit of excellence.

Our St. Anthony North Nurse Practice Advisory Council Purpose
Utilizing the experience and expertise of all nursing areas, the Nurse Practice Advisory Council will provide a forum for nurses to gather and exchange information to further the standards of nursing care and their professional development. This council creates an environment where the voices of nurses are heard and celebrated.

This website will provide you with an overview of our nursing community at St. Anthony North.  You can look for a specific department focus or how we reward and recognize our nursing staff.  In addition, we are very transparent about our quality outcomes and regularly share these nurse sensitive measures.  We belong to the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators, (NDNQI), so we can improve our patient care from national best practices.

We value innovation with our nursing recruitment and retention activities.  We provide a variety of programs to attract the “best and the brightest” in nursing. This can be demonstrated by our commitment to an extensive orientation program or through the dollars invested in our nursing educational funding.  We also recognize our staff annually through a program that identifies preceptor, volunteer and other community activities of each nurse’s practice.

I am extremely proud to be a member of our amazing nursing team.  I know you will be too.  Please join us.

Sincerely,

Kelly Reno, RN, BSN, MBA
Chief Nursing Officer
