Dr. Carlos Vela Brol received his doctor of medicine degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin, Guatemala, in 2001. He completed his family residency at St. Anthony North Family Medical Center in 2010 and received his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine in 2010.

He was employed with Clinica Family Health Services in Thornton before joining North Ridge Medical Practice. Prior to that, he worked in Guatemala at Clinica Familiar "Luis Angel Garcia" and Universidad Francisco Marroquin.
Dr. Brol's philosophy is to provide the best care available and to take the time to really listen to patients. He also believes that medicine should focus on prevention—helping people live healthy lives and maintain a healthy life style.
Dr. Brol is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is married and has two daughters.
