Integrative Healing Services is a unique program of the Office of Mission and Ministry at St. Anthony Central Hospital. It addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their loved ones by blending complementary therapies into existing care plans. This complementary-or integrated-approach has been shown to enhance comfort, reduce stress and even promote healing.

Practitioners in this program work in close partnership with other care providers, patients and families to assure personalized, beneficial services. Complementary components include:

• relaxation and visualization
• guided imagery
• prayer
• breathing exercises
• music therapy
• aromatherapy
• humor

This complementary program is availabel to patients in orthopedics and surgery as well as other areas throughout St. Anthony Hospitals.
